[Super Junior] SJ's Heechul to become talk show host

Super Junior’s Heechul will turn out to be the host of MBC talk show “Radio Star”.

Producers at MBC said that Heechul’s witty personality would guarantee that he would be a fantastic host. “He’s the host of his own radio show, and he’s usually been a glib speaker, so we judged that he would be ideal as a host for ‘Radio Star’ also.” They said that Heechul has already pre-recorded the upcoming Wednesday show.

“Radio Star” is the second segment of well-known talk show “Golden Fishery”. It has four hosts, such as TV personalities Kim Kook Jin, Yoon Jong Shin, and Kim Gura. The fourth host, Shin Jung Hwan, has remained overseas since last summer because of suspicions of illegal gambling at casinos within the Philippines.

[Brown Eyed Girls] To return with new album in 2011

After a whole year of individual activities, Brown Eyed Girls will be reuniting come 2011.

Brown Eyed Girls composed of members Jea, Narsha, Miryo, and Ga-In will return in January 2011 with the release of their 4th Korean album and 1st Japanese single.

Their 1st Japanese single will actually be their last Korean single “Sign” which they released 1 year and 4 months ago.

The group debuted in Japan earlier this year releasing the Japanese version of their album “Sound-G” but compared to other kpop groups, Brown Eyed Girls have not concentrated on promoting themselves.

Instead, the girls have focused on their individual promotions . Narsha debuted earlier this summer showing off a whole new creative side of herself, while Ga-In who debuted in the Fall showed us the way of the tango.

So with the girls about to reunite, are you excited for Brown Eyed Girl’s comeback?

[DBSK/TVXQ] TVXQ to release new single in 2011

When it was announced by Avex that TVXQ was going to continue as a unit, there were mixed reactions. There were those who refused to believe that the group was still ‘TVXQ’ because there were only two members left. Many drew reassurance in seeing how the official image on the Avex website still displayed the original five.

Unfortunately, the reality isn’t so neat.

It was announced that TVXQ will be releasing their first single as a two-member unit on January 26th, 2011. While details regarding the title have yet to be released, what is known is that there will be two versions available.

The ‘First Press Limited Edition’ will include two title tracks, as well as two different versions of the songs. A DVD with the title track’s PV and ‘off shoot movie’ will also be included in the package. Only the first press album will have a different jacket, utilizing 1 of 6 random photos. This CD+DVD unit has been priced at ¥1,890 ($22.50 USD).

The ‘Normal Edition’ will include the two title tracks, a remix of the main track, and two different versions of the songs. As an added bonus, the ‘first press’ of this version will have an alternative jacket (1 of 6 photos) and a 12-page booklet. This version will only cost fans ¥1,050 ($12.50 USD).

[CN BLUE] CN Blue might not be attending this year's MAMA Awards Ceremony

CN Blue's company, FNC Music's representative said "CN Blue might not be able to attend MNET Asian Music Awards (MAMA) Ceremony held in Macau, due to SBs Inkigayo, which is hosted by Jung Yonghwa and also because the other band members have their own solo activities, and they even have to prepare for their own concert, so they have no time to go to Macau.

Jung Yonghwa is not only Inkigayo's MC, he is also a guest on MBC's We Got Married. He is currently appearing with SNSD's Seohyun on the show, and they are known as the "sweet potato couple".

Another member, Jang Minhyuk is acting in SBS's new tv drama "It's okay, Daddy's Girl", and has officially debuted as an actor.

CN Blue has released their 1st album "Bluetory" in January, and officially debuted in Korea through their song "I'm a loner". Following up was their album "Bluelove", that was released in May. The lead single "Love" was very popular, hence, CN Blue is 2010's powerful rookie candidate.

In 2010's MAMA Awards Ceremony, CN Blue was nominated for Male Rookie Award, Best Band Performance, The Shilla Duty Free Asian Wave Award and 3 other nomination categories.

On the other side, YG Entertainment artistes, Big Bang, 2NE1 and some others, and JYP Entertainment artistes, 2PM, miss A and some others will be attending MAMA Awards Ceremony. The possibility of SM artistes; Super Junior, SNSD, SHINee and some others attending isn't big.
